Debbie Kirsch

Debbie Kirsch was introduced to barbershop music at age five by her dad.  She joined Sweet Adelines International (SAI) in 1986 and has been a member of four choruses and several competitive quartets, as well as serving in various positions that supported chorus goals and initiatives.

In 2020, Debbie became Interim Director for the Valley Forge Chorus (SAI).  Shortly thereafter, she earned her Sweet Adeline’s Front-Line Director Certification and went on to become the Front-Line Director of the Valley Forge Chorus serving until 2024.  She also served as Assistant Director of the Mainliners Chapter within the Barbershop Harmony Society (BHS) from 2020 – 2023.

Currently, Debbie is the Front-Line Director of the Philadelphia Freedom Chorus, Vice President of Marketing for the Mid-Atlantic District (BHS), and enjoys quartet and chorus coaching.

Debbie is married to her high school sweetheart, Steve, who performs with the internationally acclaimed Parkside Harmony Chapter (BHS).  They have two fantastic sons and live in Montgomery County, PA.  In addition to her very busy “barbershop life”, Debbie works full time for a large pharmaceutical company.
